Fitness Industry Leader Anthony Geisler Addresses National Health Crisis at White House

Anthony Geisler, the fitness entrepreneur behind Sequel Brands, participated in exclusive White House discussions this week focused on combating America’s declining health outcomes.

The CEO joined health leaders and policymakers as the Presidential Commission unveiled its Make America Healthy Again report, which revealed alarming statistics about youth physical activity. Over 70% of children ages 6-17 fail to meet basic daily movement requirements, with teenage inactivity reaching 85%.

Geisler’s invitation marks a watershed moment for the exercise industry’s inclusion in federal health policy discussions. His presence represents the first time fitness leadership has been formally recognized alongside medical and academic institutions in shaping national wellness strategy.

“The fitness community has waited a long time for this moment,” Geisler stated. “Physical movement isn’t optional anymore. It’s essential to the nation’s health.”

The entrepreneur has built his career scaling boutique fitness concepts into national phenomena. After founding Xponential Fitness in 2017 and growing it into the world’s largest wellness franchisor, Geisler launched Sequel Brands earlier this year with four specialized concepts targeting different aspects of human performance.

His companies have delivered tens of millions of workouts nationwide, providing practical insights into American exercise habits that inform his policy advocacy efforts.

During his Washington visit, Geisler conducted media interviews emphasizing the fitness industry’s potential to reverse sedentary lifestyle trends through accessible programming. He highlighted research from the world’s longest-living communities, which prioritize daily physical movement as fundamental to longevity.

Recent months have seen Geisler engage directly with key figures including Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., CMS Administrator Mehmet Oz, and Special Advisor Calley Means to advocate for movement-centered health policies.

“These stats are a serious wake-up call,” Geisler emphasized. “When kids and teens aren’t moving enough, we’re setting them up for serious health issues down the road.”

Geisler will continue his public advocacy as keynote speaker at the Athletech Innovation Summit in New York City this June, where he plans to detail his vision for the future of boutique fitness franchising.
